Parkside Apartments
The Parkside Apartments in Kingston were originally constructed in 1996. The building consists of a total of 6 two-bedroom/one bath apartments, and 10 one-bedroom/one bath apartments. The building is located between the Pierce Street and Market Street bridges, across the dike from Nesbitt Park. Walk along the top of the paved dike about 500 yards southwest to reach the Market Street Bridge (the gateway to downtown Wilkes-Barre) and Kirby Park. Walk in the opposite direction about 150 yards to the Pierce Street (North Street) Bridge, and cross to the Luzerne County Courthouse.
Each apartment in the building has a great room, a kitchen with dining bar, a full bath, and a washer/dryer within the apartment. The apartments utilize electric heat with several thermostats as well as through-the-wall air conditioning units. Each apartment includes a personal storage space in the basement of the building. Off-street parking is available in front of and behind the building, and there are also a limited number of covered parking spaces. There are also four common decks for the tenants’ use in front of the building.
The Parkside Apartments are pet-friendly (with additional security deposit). For dog lovers, simply walk across the street and over the dike, and you are in the park! Live at the Parkside Apartments and experience suburban living with an easy walking or biking commute to downtown Wilkes-Barre.
